hair, his skin was covered with sand, and he had managed to enter the
Caliph's private gardens without being seen by the guards.

Ali began to worry when the girl talked about the guards, so he decided to
pretend to be a dhinn, hoping she would help him and he could escape
afterwards.
3)
He felt safe because nit was a private garden surrounded by a wall, and men
were not allowed inside, so no soldiers could go in.
4)
Fatima helped Ali because she was fascinated by the story if the magic lamp
and she thought the dijnn of the lamp could fulfill her wish to get the lamp if she helped
him.
5)
Ali got out the same way he got in- by swimming through the water-gate
between the palace and the river.
6)
Fatima is probably very young and sheltered. She lives to hear stories that
can help her imagine the outside world which she has not seen.
